  San Marcos Campus

Texas State University campuses are open and all classes will resume on Wednesday, February 24 at 8 a.m. The assessment of university facilities as of 4 p.m. Tuesday, February 23, indicates that some of the academic buildings on the San Marcos Campus have air cooling and heating challenges and may require adjustments to face-to-face class meeting locations. Deans and department chairs/school directors are working with faculty to make those adjustments now. Faculty members will communicate any changes directly to the appropriate students as needed. Academic buildings on the Round Rock Campus are currently operating with effective cooling and heating.

  Round Rock Campus

Texas State University will be closed through Wednesday, February 17, at 8:00 AM due to inclement weather. All classes and events are canceled including virtual/online classes and events. Only designated essential personnel should report to work on the campuses.

Faculty will communicate with their students directly on any alternate class plans.

The university will continue to monitor weather and road conditions, and will announce the operational status of our campuses beyond Wednesday at 8:00 AM no later than Tuesday, February 16 at 5:00 PM.
