Texas State, UT Austin and the City of Austin received an identical, non-specific, unverified threat early this morning. Texas State UPD is investigating and cooperating with Austin police. No credible threat has been identified at this time, more updates to follow.
Update: Texas State UPD is continuing the investigation of the unspecified threat sent to the San Marcos campus, UT Austin and the City of Austin. The investigation is being assisted by local, regional and federal agencies. There continues to be no credible threat to our campuses at this time.
